Global Primary Aluminum Output Rises 2.5% in July, IAI Data Shows
August 20 - The latest figures released by the International Aluminium Institute (IAI) indicate a steady growth in worldwide primary aluminum production this July.
According to the report, total global output reached 6.373 million tonnes for the month. This represents a 2.5% increase compared to production levels from the same period a year ago. On a daily basis, production averaged approximately 205,600 tonnes.
A breakdown of the data shows that production outside of China and unreported regions stood at 2.289 million tonnes for July, with a corresponding daily output of 73,800 tonnes.
This continued growth suggests a stable and gradually expanding global aluminum supply amidst current market conditions. Industry analysts often monitor these production figures closely as a key indicator of health and demand within the industrial metals sector.
